FIRST SPACE TRAVELER BORN ON THIS DATE

Alan B. Shepard,The first American Astronaut to travel
in space, was born on this date in 1923. In 1971 Alan
Commanded the Apollo 14 mission and was the fifth
person to walk on the moon. Shepard died of
Leukemia on July 21, 1998. He was 74.

is celebrating birthday number 71 today. Brenda
co-starred with Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voight
in “Midnight Cowboy”(1969), for which she was
nominated for a Golden Globe award for Best
Supporting Actress.

MICKEY’S FIRST SOUND MOVIE

cartoon to feature Synchronized Sound. Mickey Mouse made 
his third screen appearance in “STEAMBOAT WILLIE”.
