The award went to  88-year-old Betty White, the former star of the NBC
sitcom Golden Girls which ran from 1985 to 1992.

Two-time Grammy Award winner and Oscar nominated actor, Bobby
Darin died shortly after undergoing heart surgery. According to his
wishes, there was no funeral. He was only 37 years old.
