I WAS STILL IN GRADE SCHOOL WHEN RAY RECORDED THIS ONE AND I DON’T REMEMBER IT. I DO REMEMBER ELVIS’S LIVE VERSION THOUGH FROM 1970. I DO REMEMBER RAY’S TWO TOP TEN HITS, “TELL LAURA I LOVE HER” AND “CORINNA CORINNA” FROM 1960 – 1961!

Ray was a great talent! IMHO he never reached the fame that he deserved. I am a first-wave baby boomer (1946). I remember “Corrina, Corrina”, “Tell Laura…”, “Missing You”, “I Could Have Loved You So Well”, and “The Wonder of You.” Those were great songs and if Ray had more material like those songs, I believe he would have reached greater fame that what he did accomplish. Thank You, Ray for being part of the soundtrack to my teenage years!
