Citizen Kane was directed by and starred Orson Welles. The groundbreaking film is
often considered the greatest of all time. It was the first feature film for Welles and was nominated for Academy Awards in nine categories. It won an Academy Award for Best Writing (original Screenplay) by Herman Mankiewicz and Welles. Citizen Kane topped
the AFI’s 100 Years – 100 Movies list and the 10th Anniversary Update, as well as all
of the Sight & Sound polls of the 10 greatest films for nearly half a century.

  2. Matt Karm says:

Orson Welles was and still is the best! There isn’t a an Orson Welles movie or old time radio program that I don’t like. He was the greatest actor ever in my opinion.

  3. JOE COOK says:

MATT, DO YOU REMEMBER HIS “HARRY LIME” CHARACTER FROM THE “THIRD MAN” SERIES?
I LIKED HIM BETTER THERE THAN THE SHADOW!
SOMETIME I WILL HAVE TO SHARE MY O W “SHOE EXPERIENCE” WITH YOU!

  4. Matt Karm says:

Yes! The Third Man was great! Awesome character. Both the movie and the radio shows.
