Mission: Impossible is a television series the aired on the CBS network from
September 17, 1966 to March 30, 1973. The leader of the team for the first
season was Dan Briggs, played by Steven Hill. The leader for the following
seasons was Jim Phelps, played by Peter Graves. The iconic theme music
was composed by Lalo Schifrin.

  1. I miss Mission Impossible its my all time favourite! Now I buy DVD’s to watch the episodes. There is no other kind of show like Mission Impossible thanks so much for brining to our televisions!

    As you know Steven Hill just died. I get to watch the 1st season sometimes on Decades( CBS- paramount) or ME-TV. I Like watching them. Also they used a few guest stars( Eartha KItt, Mary Ann Mobley)in the first season. Too bad Desilu couldn’t worked around it.
