Scott McKenzie (Philip Wallach Blondheim) 

                      (January 10, 1939 – August 18, 2012)

Scott McKenzie had been extremely ill recently and passed away at his
home in Los Angles following a two week hospital stay. He is best known
for the 1967 generational anthem, "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear
Flowers in Your Hair)".
