FORD, SIXTY YEARS AGO
HIT RECORD RELEASED ON THIS DAY IN 1964
The Shangri-Las‘ "Leader Of The Pack" was recorded at the Ultrasonic
Sound studio located on the second floor of a Manhattan hotel. It became
number one the Billboard Hot 100 on November 28, 1964. Rolling Stone
ranked the song among the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, at #447.

ONE OF THE OLDEST MAGAZINES FOR KIDS
Jack and Jill is a bimonthly magazine for children 7 to 10 years old featuring
short stories, articles, games, comics, and educational activities. It was first
launched by Curtis Publishing Company in 1938, making it one of the oldest magazines for kids.
POPULAR RACE CAR DRIVER BECAME 38
Ralph Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is a stock car driver and team owner, currently
driving the No. 88 Chevrolet Impala in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for
Hendrick Motorsports. He is the son of NASCAR Hall of Fame legend Dale
Earnhardt. Dale Jr. won the 2004 Daytona 500 and has also won the Most
Popular Driver Award nine times.
