REMEMBERING BUCK OWENS

                    Buck Owens (Alvis Edgar Owens, Jr.)
 

                       (August 12, 1929 – March 25, 2006)

Country singer Buck Owens and his band the Buckaroos, are known for
pioneering   the ‘Bakersfield Sound.’ He released ten #1 country albums
from 1963 to 1968. He hosted the western TV series Hee Haw along with
Roy Clark from 1969 to 1986 on CBS.
