Roy Rogers (Leonard Franklin Slye) and Dale Evans (Lucille Wood Smith)
were married in Davis, Oklahoma on the Flying L Ranch where they had
earlier filmed the movie Home in Oklahoma. Their successful marriage
lasted for 51 years until Roy’s death in 1998.
