VOICE ACTOR HAS DIED AT 64

Lee Marshall (Marshall Aaron Mayer) (November 28, 1949 ā€“ April 26, 2014)

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) ā€” Lee Marshall, one of the actors who supplied the
voice of Tony the Tiger in commercials, died on Saturday, April 26 at a Santa 
Monica hospital of esophageal cancer.

Marshall began voicing the Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes mascot in 1999, filling in for
the original actor, Thurl Ravenscroft. His career included radio newsman, rock ā€˜nā€™
roll disc jockey, sports broadcaster, and a pro wrestling ring interviewer.
