Starting in 1952, LISTERINE sponsored Les Paul and Mary Ford at
Home, a five-minute long NBC network television show broadcast
from Les Paul’s home in Mahwah, New Jersey. The episodes were
only five minutes long and featured Les Paul and his wife Mary Ford,
and some absolutely amazing, incredible guitar playing. It ran for 170
episodes.

Jack Leroy "Jackie" Wilson, Jr.
(June 9, 1934 – January 21, 1984)

Jackie Wilson was a Grammy Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame inductee who helped R&B transition into soul. He
recorded over 50 hit singles and had six #1 R&B hits, including
"You Better Know It" and "Doggin’ Around."

In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Jackie Wilson #69 on
their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

Wilson dropped out of high school at age fifteen and briefly
competed as an amateur boxer.
