"True Love Ways" was written by Buddy Holly and Norman Petty and
recorded with the Dick Jacobs Orchestra four months before the singer’s
death. It was Holly’s last studio session. The songs “It Doesn’t Matter
Anymore”, “Raining in my Heart”, and ”Moondreams” were also recorded
during that final session.

The song "Love Is Strange" (1956) sold over one million copies and was awarded
gold disc by the RIAA. The duo eventually bought their own nightclub, formed
a publishing company, and formed their own record label. Although Mickey & Sylvia disbanded by the end of the 1950s, they continued to record together on an
infrequent basis until 1965 and Mickey eventually moved to France.

Alfred Bernhard Nobel (October 21, 1833 – December 10, 1896)

Swedish chemist, engineer, and inventor of dynamite, Alfred Nobel used his
fortune posthumously to institute the Nobel Prizes. In his lifetime he issued
350 patents internationally and established 90 armaments factories. He grew
up wealthy after his father invented modern plywood and filed his first patent
himself in 1857, for a gas meter. While studying explosives, a shed he was
using for the preparation of nitroglycerin, exploded at a factory in Heleneborg,
Stockholm and killed five people, including his younger brother Emil.
