Ronald E. "Ron" Glass (July 10, 1945 – November 25, 2016)
He was born in Evansville, Indiana.
Glass was known for his role as the literary Det. Ron Harris in the ABC-TV
sitcom Barney Miller (1975–1982). He reportedly died of respiratory
failure.
