Guest Rose Kennedy and Dinah Shore from Dinah’s Place

Dinah’s Place
ran on NBC-TV from 1970 to 1974. The show featured
famous guest stars and experts on nutrition, exercise and homemaking.

Despite the fact the show was among the most popular programs in the
morning lineup of NBC, it left the air after Shore was sent a telegram
informing her the show was being cancelled, because it broke up a
“game show programming block”. Thus NBC’S 35-year association
with Dinah Shore ended.
