HISTORIC CONNECTICUT ESTATE FOR SALE

A split of Mary Tyler Moore and her Connecticut home

A Connecticut estate belonging to late actress Mary Tyler Moore
has been listed for $21.9 million.

According to a listing agent with Sotheby’s Realty, built in 1900,
the five-bedroom, seven-and-two-half-bath Georgian Colonial sits
on more than seven acres of land in Greenwich.

The Wall Street Journal reported, the "Mary Tyler Moore Show"
actress and her husband, Dr. Robert Levine, bought the home
for $10 million in 2006. 

While living there, the couple expanded and renovated the now
13,825-square-foot home, which includes a glass conservatory,
an elevator, a gym with spa facilities, a swimming pool and
outdoor fireplace.
 

Moore died in 2017 at 80 years old from a cardiopulmonary arrest
after she contracted pneumonia.

A 1952 Jaguar XK120 originally owned by Clark Gable is being
put up for sale for the first time since 1982. He owned the car
until late 1953.

The Battleship Grey roadster was delivered to the Hollywood
legend in Cornwall, U.K., where he was working on the film
"Never Let Me Go."

LOCAL AREA MOVIE HOME IS UP FOR SALE

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Good news for fans of “The Goonies:”
the old Victorian home featured in the film is on sale in Astoria,
Oregon, and potential buyers are considering making it more
accessible to the public.

“We have a few interested parties right now,” said realtor Jordan
Miller, the listing agent for the property. He said.. “It seems to be everybody’s intention to be able to open up the house a little bit
more and have more access.”

The 1896 home with sweeping views of the Columbia River flowing
into the Pacific Ocean has been listed with an asking price of $1.7
million on Zillow, where it’s described as “fully loaded with history, nostalgia and iconic level of fame.”

Since the movie hit theaters in 1985, fans have flocked to the home
in northwestern Oregon’s historic port of Astoria.

The city celebrates Goonies Day on June 7, the film’s release date,
and welcomes thousands of people for the event.

RARE ‘NEW’ PONTIAC TRANS AM FOR SALE

Only 1,555 pace car replicas were built.

(Fox News) – It’s a pace car that’s been taking it easy.

A 1989 Pontiac Trans Am Indy 500 Pace Car replica has
been listed for sale in Nebraska with just 178 miles on its
odometer.

The car is being offered by Restore a Muscle Car, an outfit
that rebuilds and deals in classic American sports cars.

The online sales and marketing manager, Tom Hegland, told
Fox News Digital that the car had two previous owners and
was always treated as a collectible.
