Sir Michael Caine,(born Maurice Joseph Micklewhite); is an English film
actor and author. He has appeared in over one hundred films and is one of
Britain’s most recognizable and respected actors. Caine is well known for such
films as Alfie (1966), The Italian Job (1969), Academy Award winning roles for
best supporting actor in both Hannah and Her Sisters (1986), and The Cider
House Rules (1999). More recently Michael Caine has played Alfred , the
butler from Batman Begins (2005), and The Dark Knight (2008). Caine is
one of two actors nominated for an Academy Award for acting, either lead
or supporting, in every decade from the 1960s to 2000s…the other actor
being Jack Nicholson. In 2000, Caine was Knighted by Queen Elizabeth ll.

MARY STEENBURGEN TURNED 58 TODAY

Mary Nell Steenburgen has starred in over fifty films spanning thirty years
of movie production. Her big break came when she was discovered by Jack
Nicholson who cast her as the lead in his second directorial production, the
1978 western Goin’ South. Mary’s third film in 1980 was Melvin and Howard
which earned her and Academy Award and a Golden Globe both for Best
Supporting Actress. She had a leading role in the 1979 film Time After Time
and made other appearances in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape in 1993 and she
was Doc Brown’s (Christopher Lloyd) love interest in Back to the Future Part lll.
