IT WAS THE WORLD’S LARGEST LOG CABIN!
The Forestry Building under construction in 1907.
Fire destroyed the structure on August 17, 1964.
A new “World Forestry Center” opened to the public on June 5,1971.
The center is located near the Portland Zoo in Washington Park.
