The guitarist and singer-songwriter was considered
by many to be the greatest electric guitarist in the
history of rock music. Hendrix won numerous rock
music awards and was inducted into the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. He died in 1970.

I was lucky to see him at the Coliseum. When he mixed the guitar with lighter fluid and lit it, I never knew there were so many cops in that building. They hit the stage and un- plugged their gear….Lights went on & that was the end of the show. But it ranked as one of the top 5 shows I ever attended.
