was 7 when FKB came on tv. In a way my generation grew up with a lot of tv family shows. The 1 episode that stirs in my mind is when Bud brings home a friend who unknown to him, was homeless. In the end it turned out as best the 50s could make it. As far as payments being deprived for their work 60+ years ago is a tragedy & I think this is what drove them to unfortunate circumstantces. Finally the girl who played Zelda in Dobie Gillis is a real person that turned acting as a way for her super career.

  20. Regina says:

FKB is one of my favorite shows of all time. I know Bill thinks it wasn’t true to the way life really was,but I for one watch TV to escape the real world somewhat. The show still shows a lot about how that era was,,just not the worst parts of it. And I bet in quite a few places (like the small town I grew up in) life was very similar to the show.
