On October 1, 1962, Groucho Marx (left) made a television guest appearance
to introduce the Tonight Show’s new host, Johnny Carson.

Though a roofer by trade, Aidan Quinn began his acting career in the Chicago
theater at age 19. His first significant film role was in Reckless (1984),followed
by a breakthrough role in Desperately Seeking Susan (1985). In the 1990s
Quinn’s career grew immensely. He found work alongside such stars as Brad
Pitt in Legends of the Fall (1994), Johnny Depp in Benny & Joan (1993),and
Robert Duvall in The Handmaid’s Tale (1990).
