LES PAUL (JUNE 9, 1915 – AUGUST 12, 2009

Les Paul was a guitarist, songwriter and inventor. He was a pioneer in the
development of the solid-body electric guitar. Paul is credited with many
recording techniques such as overdubbing, phasing effects and multi-
track recording. His unique playing style set him apart from his many 
contemporaries and inspired most of today’s guitarists. Les Paul
recorded with his wife Mary Ford in the 1950, selling millions of
records.  Among his many honors, Paul is one of a handful of artists
with a permanent, stand-alone exhibit in the Rock and Roll hall of Fame.

Johnny Depp won the Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild award
for Best Actor. Depp rose to prominence on the 1980s Fox television series
21 Jump Street. Turning to film, he played in A Nightmare On Elm Street
(1984), What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), Donnie Brasco (1997), and is
best known for his current portrayals in the Pirates of the Caribbean films
(The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Dead Man’s Chest (2006), and At
World’s End
(2007). Depp was named twice as the Sexiest man alive by
People magazine in 2003 and 2009.
