JOHN GOODMAN IS 59 YEARS OLD TODAY

John Stephen Goodman is a film, television, and stage actor. He is best known
for his role as Dan Conner on the ABC-TV series Roseanne (1988–1997) for
which he won a Best Actor Golden Globe award in 1993. Goodman is also noted
for appearances in the films of the Coen brothers, with prominent roles in Raising
Arizona
(1987) Barton Fink (1991) The Big Lebowski (1998) and O Brother Where
Art Thou?
(2000). Goodman has also done voice work for many films by Disney. He
has made more than 50 films and has won two American Comedy Awards.

The Blues Brothers is a musical comedy film directed by John Landis who In
1978, directed his first film for Universal Studios,National Lampoon’s Animal
House
. The Blues Brothers starred John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd  and
featured musical numbers by R&B and soul signers James Brown, Cab
Calloway,Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charles.The movie received  generally
good reviews and earned just under $5 million in its opening  weekend and
went on to gross $115.2 million worldwide.

MOVIE STAR RYAN DUNN DEAD AT 34

"Jackass" star Ryan Dunn died in a fiery car crash in Pennsylvania early
this morning.

According to TMZ, Dunn, 34, and an unidentified person both died in
the crash of a 2007 Porsche, which happened around 3 a.m. at Route
322 and New Street in West Goshen Township.

According to reports, the crash occurred when his car veered off the
roadway and burst into flames. Speed may have been a factor.

TMZ reports that Dunn was driving.

music  styles whose albums have sold over 54 million copies. Murray was
the first Canadian female solo singer to reach #1 on the U.S. charts, and
also the first to earn a Gold record for one of her signature songs,
“Snowbird” (1970).

U.S. ARMY AIR FORCE ESTABLISHED ON THIS DATE IN 1941

The United States Army Air Corps (USAAC) was a forerunner of todays
U.S. Air Force. Renamed from the  Air Service on 2 July 1926, it was part
of the U.S. Army. The Air Corps was renamed the United States Army Air
Forces by Congress on June 20,1941 and was active till September
17, 1947.
