Peggy Lipton is a television actress, best known for her role as Julie
Barnes in the ABC series The Mod Squad (1968-1973). Lipton had a
successful career as a model before landing a contract with Universal
Pictures. She made her debut as a student at a private girl’s academy
in the NBC-TV sitcom The John Forsythe Show (1965-1966).

Ingrid Bergman was a Swedish actress who starred in a many European and
American films. She was the recipient of three Academy Awards, two Emmy
Awards,and the Tony Award for Best Actress. The American Film Institute
listed Bergman as the fourth greatest female cinema star of all time. She is
most remembered for her portrayal of llsa Lund in the Best Picture Academy
Award winner Casablanca (1942), co-staring Humphrey Bogart. Before
becoming a star in American films, she had already been a leading
actress in Swedish films.

Dinah Washington has been cited as "the most popular black female
recording artist of the ’50s”. She is a 1986 inductee of the Alabama
jazz Hall of Fame and was also induced into the Rock and Roll Hall
of Fame in 1993.

 

Dinah Washington won a  Grammy Award in 1959 for Best Rhythm
and Blues Performance with this song. It was also inducted into
the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998 and earned Dinah her first
top ten Pop hit, reaching #8 on the Billboard Hot 100.
