Margaret O’Brien is a film and stage actress. Though her film career as a
lead character was a brief one, O’Brien was one of the most popular child
actors in film history. Her most memorable role was as "Tootie" in Meet Me
in St. Louis (1944), opposite Judy Garland (below). In her later years, she
appeared on stage and in various supporting roles in films.

So nice to see these remembrances of our childhood idol. .She is lovely today!
Margaret O’Brien, born 6 1/2 years before me, was my Mary Pickford, though I was aware of her only during the 50’s era of television, and not so much in the movies. She was emblematic of a certain brunette pulchritude I idealized. I would have loved to be her contemporary.
In the movie “journey for Margaret” Ms obrien mentions and catrries around an (sp)? Imogesion bomb? What kind is that and what does that mean?
