The present McDonald’s corporation, the largest chin of hamburger fast food
restaurants in the world, dates its founding to the opening of a
franchised
restaurant by
Ray Kroc, in Des Plaines, Illinois, on April 15, 1955. It is the
ninth McDonald’s restaurant overall.

oldest mcdonalds 
The oldest operating McDonald’s restaurant in Downey, California opened
in 1953. It was the third one built.
