Bobby still performs as a solo act, and tours as part of ‘The Golden Boys’ stage production since 1985 (with Frankie Avalon and Fabian). He cancelled his 2012
Australia tour because his health had deteriorated significantly, and he was in
need of urgent major surgery.

Kissin’ Time was released in 1959 and was Bobby Rydell’s first
released
single, and also his first Top-20 hit. It was written by
Bernie Lowe and Kal Mann.

    HERE’S A NOTE OF INTEREST ABOUT BOBBY AND FRANKIE AVALON! BOBBY PLAYED THE DRUMS AND FRANKIE THE TRUMPET IN A BAND CALLED ROCCO & HIS SAINTS IN 1956. WHO’D A THUNK!
