SINGER FLORENCE LARUE IS 70 TODAY
Award-winning singer Florence Larue has served as the first lead singer
of the group The 5th Dimension. They won a Grammy for their 1976 hit
song. Love Hangover. Larue starred in the 1978 Broadway musical Ain’t
Misbehavin’.
Larue earned an Associate’s Degree in Music from Los Angeles City College
and later received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from California
State University.
