ACTRESS BEVERLY LONG IS DEAD AT 81

Beverly Long (April 18, 1933 – May 8, 2014)

Beverly Long, one of the last surviving cast members of the 1955 James
Dean classic Rebel Without a Cause, died May 8 in Los Angeles after a
short hospital stay. Long also had a lead role in the 1958 film “The Green-
Eyed Blond”, appeared in Paramount’s As Young as We Are (1958) and
was seen on Robert Young’s CBS sitcom Father Knows Best.”

      Jeb Stuart Magruder
(November 5, 1934 – May 11, 2014)

Jeb Stuart Magruder, the former Nixon aide who went to prison over his
role in the 1972 Watergate scandal, died Sunday from complications from
a stroke. He was ordained as a Presbyterian minister after serving a seven
month prison term stemming from the Democratic Party headquarters break-
in.

played the Orion Marta in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode

Liberace (Born Władziu Valentino Liberace, also known as Walter
Busterkeys and Walter Liberace)


(May 16, 1919 – February 4, 1987)

Liberace was entertainment’s highest-paid performer during the 1950s,
60s, and 70s. He was known for his flamboyant, excessive showmanship.

Before fame he played at cabarets and strip clubs during the day of the
Great Depression. His highly successful syndicated television began July
1, 1952 and ran until 1969.

He adopted the popular World War II song I’ll Be Seeing You, written by
Sammy Fain and Irving Kahal, as his theme, which he sang at the end of
every television broadcast.
