Former child star Lauren Ann Chapin rose to fame for playing Kathy “Kitten”
Anderson on the long-running CBS television series Father Knows Best
(1954-1960). She had her first acting role on a 1952 episode of Lux Video
Theatre when she was seven. Chapin wrote the book “Father Does Know
Best-The Lauren Chapin Story” in 1988.
