Pop singer Tony Orlando recorded "Knock Three Times" with
backup singers Dawn. He also released hits like "Bless You"
and "Halfway to Paradise." Growing up in the Hell’s Kitchen
neighborhood of New York, his first group was a doo-wop
ensemble called The Five Gents.
