National Medal of Honor Day on March 25th recognizes all Medal
of Honor recipients. On March 25, 1863, Secretary of War, Edwin
Stanton presented the first Medals of Honor (Army) to six members
of “Andrews Raiders” for their volunteering and participation
during an American Civil War raid in April of 1862.

COUNTRY MUSIC SUPERSTAR IS DEAD AT 81
Kenneth Ray Rogers (August 21, 1938 – March 20, 2020)
Longtime legend of country music, Kenny Rogers, died peacefully
under hospice care at his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia. A
representative for the singer said in a statement, due to the
national COVID-19 emergency, the family is planning a small
private service at this time with a public memorial planned
for a later date.
