The United States Constitution was signed on September 17,
1787, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Constitutional
Convention.

This momentous event finalized the four-page document that
replaced the Articles of Confederation and established the
framework for the U.S. government.

A 1787 copy of the U.S. Constitution was put up for auction
on Sept. 28, 2024 and sold for $9 million.

The copy was found in a filling cabinet in North Carolina.
