Daredevil Evel Knievel dies at 69 – Orange County Register

Robert Craig Knievel (October 17, 1938 – November 30, 2007)

Knievel died on the way to a hospital in Clearwater, Florida. He had
been suffering from
diabetes and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis for
many years. He was 69.
 

Knievel was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999.
