(FOX NEWS) – A rare, 2,500-year-old marble statue has emerged
from the ruins of Sardis, an ancient city immortalized in the
Holy Bibles
Book of Revelation.

The discovery dates to the fifth century B.C. and was announced
by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism earlier in August.

Sardis is located in the Salihli district of Manisa, about 45 miles
east of the major Turkish city of İzmir.

Pictures show excavators carefully uncovering the monumental
statue, which still retained well-preserved facial features, at the
archaeological site.

In a translated statement, officials described the statue as having
"larger-than-life dimensions [that] make it
a rare example from
the period

Split image of girl holding scarab and Caananite artifact

(FOX NEWS) – The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) reported on
Monday that 3-year-old Ziv Nitzan came across a 3,800-year-old Canaanite amulet back in March.

The Canaanites were the original inhabitants of the Levant and
were descended from Noah’s grandson Canaan, according to
the Old Testament.

Omer Nitzan, Ziv’s sister, said her family was walking along
Tel Azeka, a hill in the Judaean Foothills, when the 3-year-old
spotted the artifact.

The area is the location of the ancient town of Azekah, which
is referenced in 1 Samuel 17:1 during a biblical battle between
David and Goliath.

(Fox News) – Archaeologists in Israel say that they have found
a clay seal mark that may bear the signature of the Biblical
Prophet Isaiah.

The 2,700-year-old stamped clay artifact was found during an
excavation at the foot of the southern wall of Jerusalem’s
Temple Mount. In ancient times a seal stamp, or bulla, was
used to authenticate documents or items.
