This song became the Bee Gees’ first number one hit on the
Billboard Hot 100 and also reached number four on the Billboard
Adult Contemporary chart.

Billy Joe "B. J." Thomas is a popular singer known for his chart-topping hits
in the 1960s and 1970s such as “Hooked on a Feeling” in 1968 and in 1969
the film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid featured Thomas singing the
Burt Bacharach/Hal David song “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head”, which
won the Academy Award for best original song that year and became the
number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 1970.

The Crew-Cuts were a Canadian vocal quartet who were most famous for 
their recording of a cover version of The Chords hit record, “Sh-Boom”. A
number of other hits followed including "Earth Angel" which rose to the #2
spot on the charts.

Maureen McGovern. The original version of the song was the love
theme from the film The Poseidon Adventure (1972).
