on the Billboard Pop chart and #4 on the R&B chart with a novelty
tune called "The Name Game".

Kathy Young and the Innocents

After reaching #28 with their first chart entry, "Honest I Do", earlier in the
year, Kathy Young and The Innocents attain their only Top 10 hit when
"A Thousand Stars" tops out at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Young was
not yet fifteen when she made the recording.
