MUSEUM FOR PINBALL MACHINES IN JERSEY

A museum in New Jersey is giving people a fun and interactive experience from the past.

According to Reuters, the Silverball Retro Arcade in Asbury Park,
New Jersey, holds more than 150 working pinball machines that
visitors can play. Some of the machines date back to the 1950’s.

Robert Ilvento (below) and Steve Zuckerman are co-founders of
the museum.

ROOKIE JERSEY GOES UP FOR AUCTION

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. (AP) — A jersey worn by Kobe Bryant
in his rookie season, including two playoff games, will be sold
at auction.

David Kohler of SCP Auctions said “the jersey from the 1996-97
season could fetch between $3 million and $5 million in an online
auction that begins May 18”.

A FINE RETRO RADIO FROM 1948 ~

Vintage Truetone Portable Radio, Model D3840, AM Band, 6 Vacuum Tubes.   

Truetone was the private label radio, television and electronics
brand of Western Auto Supply Company of Kansas City,
Missouri.

In the late 1920s, radio was taking the country by storm and
Western Auto was looking for new items to add to its line of
merchandise.

After selling radio tubes under its "Wizard" brand in the 1920s,
the company offered its first Truetone brand radios in 1931.
