Jack Harold Paar (May 1, 1918 – January 27, 2004) host of The Tonight Show
from 1957 to 1962 on NBC-TV.

Starting in 1987, stand-up comedian Jay Leno became a regular substitute 
host for Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show and replaced Johnny as host
when he left the show in 1992. Leno owns about 100 cars and has a regular
column in Popular Mechanics and writes occasional articles for The Sunday
Times, reviewing high-end sports cars and giving humorous takes on matters
concerning automobiles.
