Lawrence Welk (March 11, 1903 – May 17, 1992)

Welk was a bandleader of easy-listening “champagne music”
who hosted The Lawrence Welk Show from 1945 to 1982 on
ABC television. His father scraped together enough money
from his farming job to purchase his first accordion.

In 1996, Lawrence Welk was ranked #43 on TV Guide’s 50
Greatest TV Stars of All Time.

Bree Nicole Turner was born in Santa Monica, California

Turner is a regular member of the NBC-TV series Grimm. The drama
series debuted on October 28,2011 and is filmed in Portland, Oregon.

Before fame, Turner appeared in commercials for such companies
as Gap
and Dr.Pepper (above).

Scott is best known for being a television weatherman on the NBC

prototype made by Guitarist Les Paul.

 

The Les Paul prototype guitar that came to be known as ‘Black Beauty’ will be on
the auction block at Arader Galleries on Madison Avenue on Thursday, February
19, and could fetch over $2 million.
