The early career of Davy Jones included a part in the London 
        stage production of the musical OLIVER in 1960.

           Davy sang with The Monkees from 1965 to the early 1970’s.

        
                  Davy Jones is celebrating his 65th Birthday today.

THE MONKEES, left to right were Davy Jones, Peter
Tork, Micky Dolenz, and Michale Nesmith. The group
also had a TV series from 1966 to 1968. They continued
releasing records until 1970.

Michael Nesmith is now a producer, novelist, and a businessman.

     
     Mary Tyler Moore with Dick Van Dyke. The CBS sitcom
     aired from October 3, 1961 until June 1, 1960.

         
             This show ran from 1970 to 1977 on CBS-TV.

Marvel comic book writer and producer Stan Lee was inducted into
the Will Isner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Jack Kirby
Hall of Fame in 1995. Lee is the former president and chairman of
Marvel Comics.

Denzel won the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award in 1990 for
his role in GLORY. He also won a second Oscar for Best Actor in
2002 for his work in TRAINING DAY. Washington has also been
awarded two Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award.
