Gavin MacLeod is an actor most known for playing Murray Slaughter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show (CBS-TV, 1970 – 1977) and Captain Merrill Stubing (above left) on The Love Boat (ABC-TV, 1977 – 1986). MacLeod’s first movie appearance was a small , un-credited role in The True Story of Lynn Stuart in 1958. Soon thereafter, he landed a credited role in I Want to Live!, a 1958 prison drama starring Susan Hayward. He was soon noticed by Blake Edwards, who in 1958 cast him in Operation Petticoat with Cary Grant and Tony Curtis. The movie proved to be a breakout role for Macleod.

Actress and author, Jamie Lee Curtis is best known
for her starring roles in many horror films such as
John Carpenter’s “Halloween”,1978 and “The Fog”
made in 1980. Jamie won a Golden Globe for her
supporting role in James Cameron’s 1994 film
”True Lies” starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Jamie’s work today covers many Genres and she
has a book on the New York Times best-seller list.
Her parents were actor Tony Curtis and actress
Janet Leigh, shown below.
