The original network TV version of WHEEL OF FORTUNE ran from 1975 to
1991 on
 both NBC and CBS before syndication. The current version of
the show premiered on September 19, 1983 with hosts Pat Sajak and
letter turner Vanna White.

MISTER ED DEBUTED ON THIS DATE IN 1961

The sitcom was in syndication until July 2, 1961. It then aired on CBS-TV
from October 1, 1961 until February 6, 1966. The show starred Alan
Young as Wilbur Post and Connie Hines as his wife Carol Post. The
horse (Mister Ed) was a Palomino and was voiced by former western 
film star Allan Lane.

PAMELA SUE MARTIN IS 58 YEARS YOUNG TODAY

Pamela Sue Martin is best known for playing Nancy Drew
on The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries series on ABC
TV from 1977 to 1979. She appeared in The Poseidon
Adventure,
a 1972 film starring Gene Hackman. Martin
also played Fallon Carrington Colby on the ABC-TV
primetime soap Dynasty (1981 – 1989).
