The song “Jingle Bell Rock” charted at No. 13 on Billboard‘s Most Played
C&W by Jockeys chart, a predecessor to the Hot Country Songs chart. It
also peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. After it was featured on the
soundtrack to the 1996 film Jingle All the Way, the original version returned
to the country charts in late 1996-early 1997, reaching a peak of No. 60. It
also crossed to the pop charts, reaching #11 in the Cashbox Top 60, week
ending January 11, 1958.

KATE JACKSON IS 68 TODAY
Lucy Kate Jackson was born in Birmingham, Alabama.
Actress Kate Jackson played Sabrina Duncan on ABC-TV’s Charlie’s
Angels from 1976 to 1979. She was briefly employed as a page at
NBC’s Rockefeller Center studios. Besides acting, she became an
established director and producer.

The single "Be True to Your School" charted at number 6 on
the Billboard charts, and number 4 in the UPI chart survey for
newspapers across the U.S. Rising to popularity when The
Beach Boys were still thought of as a Southern California
phenomenon, it did best in Los Angeles: three weeks at #1
on the KFWB radio Fabulous Forty Survey.
