The actress, singer-dancer Ann-Margret became famous for her starring
roles in Bye Bye Birdie (1963),Viva Las Vegas (1964), and The Cincinnati
Kid (1965). Her later career includes character roles in Grumpy Old Men
(1993), and Any Given Sunday (1999). She has won five Golden Globe
Awards and been nominated for two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards,
a Screen Actors Guild Award, and six Emmy Awards. On August 21, 2010,
she won her first Emmy Award for a guest appearance on the NBC program
Law & Order: SVU.
