Aloha from Hawaii is a music concert starring Elvis Presley. It was televised live
via satellite on Sunday, January 14, 1973. It was the most watched broadcast by
an individual entertainer in television history, viewed by an estimated 1.5 billion
people worldwide. It aired the next day in primetime in over 40 countries across
Asia and Europe. The concert was not aired in the U.S.until Wednesday, April
14. The show was the most expensive entertainment special at the time, costing
$2.5 million. It was also released as a two-record album, and became one of 
Elvis’s top-selling LPs.
