Ray Edward ‘Eddie’ Cochran (October 3, 1938–April 17, 1960)
Eddie Cochran’s brief career, had a lasting influence on rock music with
rockabilly songs such as "C’mon Everybody", "Somethin’ Else", and
"Summertime Blues", He died in an automobile accident while on his
British tour.
I’ve got 4 box cd set of a lot songs he recorded before he was a star. Great stuff! There’s also a recorded interview with both him & Buddy Holly when they were on the same bill! Cool Daddy Oh! I believe that’s a Gibson Humbucker pick up in the neck position.
He was just a cutting edge artist ,
a one of a kind !
