Blogger Bob and yours truly braved the crowd and chill in the air to watch the 29th lighting of the Christmas tree at the square. It was estimated that about 15 to 17 thousand folks were there with us and I do believe that at least half, ok maybe just a fourth, alright then, quite a few anyway, stepped on us as they were trying to get a better view! For crying out loud people, the tree is 75 feet tall and you could see it from anywhere!!! But we did have fun…..right B.B.? B.B.?
Yes Joe, we did have a great time and we felt “close” to a lot of the folks there! B.B.
