Celtic Lady: VINTAGE HALLOWEEN MAGAZINE COVERS

Hearth and Home was a weekly illustrated magazine which
was published from 1868 to 1875.

The advertising company of Pettengill, Bates & Company
founded the publication, which had a debut issue dated
December 26, 1868.

The original editors were Donald G. Mitchell and Harriet
Beecher Stowe
(below).

The Statue of Liberty, a gift of friendship from the people of
France to the people of the United States, is dedicated in
New York Harbor by President Grover Cleveland.

The statue was originally known as “Liberty  Enlightening
the World.”
