Cash enlisted in the Air Force on July 7, 1950, shortly after the start
of the Korean War and served till he was honorably discharged in
1954.
John R. Cash (February 26, 1932 – September 12, 2003)
Cash died of complications from diabetes at age 71,less than
four months after his wife June.
