(Fox News) – Mickey Mantle, the late great New York Yankees
legend who won seven World Series titles and three MVP
awards with the organization, is having a great year when
it comes to his memorabilia.

On Saturday, the bidding for Mantle’s signed and handwritten
"lewd" Yankees questionnaire ended. One of the most historical
pieces in the Mantle collection sold for $242,788.80, according
to Lelands auction house.

(Fox News) – A rare handwritten note from Charles Stanley Gifford,
who was recently proven to be Marilyn Monroe’s father, is going
up for auction.

More than 175 items associated with the Hollywood icon will be headlining the upcoming "Julien’s Auctions and TCM Present:
Icons & Idols Hollywood," which will be held both in person and
online next month.

"This card is the only known material artifact that establishes
any connection or communication between Gifford and his
famous daughter," read a release. According to the auction
house, it is believed the card was hand-delivered by Gifford to
Monroe while she was hospitalized.

Scott Fortner, who owns the world’s largest private collection of Monroe’s possessions, said he discovered the card "purely by
chance." The historian and co-host of the "All Things Marilyn"
podcast is considered to be an authority on Monroe and assists
major auction companies in authenticating and verifying
memorabilia.

(Fox News) – A baseball glove that Babe Ruth used nearly a century
ago while playing for the New York Yankees sold for a record $1.5
million at an auction on Saturday. 

Ruth gifted the glove, which has light wear and even a "spatter
from tobacco juice," to Jimmy Austin, who played for the St.
Louis Browns.

It remained in Austin’s family until it was sold at the Louisville
Slugger Museum & Factory auction on Saturday.

The DB5 wears its on-screen scars from a chase scene shot
in Matera, Italy.

(FOX NEWS) – Bond is coming to the rescue again. At least his
car is. An Aston Martin DB5 used during the making of the
latest 007 installment, "No Time to Die," has been auctioned
for over $3 million to raise money for charity.

The car is a replica that was built by Aston Martin to be identical
to the iconic 1964 car that Bond first drove in "Goldfinger."

Sean Connery first drove the Aston Martin DB5 in the film "Goldfinger."

One of the famous cars from the film "Grease" is coming up for
auction at the Mecum Auctions event in Monterey, California, on
August 20.

The black custom 1949 Mercury known as "Hell’s Chariot" was
raced by the villain, Crater Face, against Danny Zuko’s "Greased Lightning" down the Los Angeles River culvert in one of the film’s
most iconic scenes (below).
